You must have a personal Facebook profile to create and manage a Facebook business page. The two serve different functions. Your personal profile is where you're able to share updates with your friends and communicate on a personal level.
A Facebook business page is designed specifically for you to establish your brand's presence on Facebook. Users can "like" this page to stay up to date on your posts and updates. Having a business page also gives you advertising options, access to analytics, and more.
It's bad practices to use your personal profile as a business page (and it's against Facebook's Terms of Service). When connecting your social media accounts in the Digital Command Center, make sure you are connecting your business page.
