Setting up Conversion Tracking

Setting up conversion tracking for your website lets you see how people clicking on

your ads are interacting with your site. Follow these steps to create a new conversion action (which lets you track action on your website) and gather the code our team needs to put on your website to finalize the set up.

 

Select the Wrench icon. Select “Conversions” under the Measurement column.

Select “+ Conversions.”

You’ll see four options for conversion sources you can track. We can help you set up tracking for Website and Phone calls.

For this example, we’ll select Website.

Add a Conversion Name and select a category. The category setting can help you organize your reports. You can segment your reports by conversion category to evaluate similar kinds of conversions together.

Scroll down to select how to track the value of each conversion. Select how many conversions to count per click or interaction.

There are additional advanced settings that are set by default. Select the dropdown arrow to view the specific section’s options. Select “Create and Continue.”

Setting up the Tag

Select “Email the tag.”

Choose whether to track conversions on a page load or click. In the email address field, enter vip@mopro.com. Click “Send and continue.”

What’s Next

Review the information below and select “Done.”

After the initial conversion set up, you’ll see your conversion status is unverified. We’ll let you know when we’ve received your code. We’ll place it on your site and confirm this setup process is complete so you can start tracking conversions.
