Finding Out Who Your Hosting Provider Is

To update your DNS settings, you’ll need to know where your site is hosted. This is usually where you purchased your domain, like GoDaddy for example. If you’re not sure where your site is hosted: 

1. Navigate to whois.com

2. Enter your domain name into the search bar and click Search

3. On the next screen, look at the first box and find the field labeled Registrar. This is where your site is hosted.
